Not sure if these would save you much room. they bolt to the backside of the transmission. Ive used them before and need modified to the BOP bolt pattern. I used a biscuit mount or just make them solid bolting to the frame

I use a front plate and no midplate. Running low 9’s. I actuallly run front plate and stock motor mounts. I didn’t want to deal with a mid plate so went this route. I haven’t seen any issues doing this

Doug Headers fit well and I don't think the Speedway Motors mid plate would work. I need to fabricate a bracket that would mount to the rear of the cylinder heads and go over the headers and mount to the frame. This is beyond my fabrication capability so I will have a shop do this for me. Or maybe I will just run it with a front plate only.
