Hey man Im not sure if you’re still active on here but Im actually Gary’s son lol.
I stumbled upon this thread a little bit ago and have been scrolling through, its pretty cool seeing how much love and appreciation my Dad and Grandad get & everything they did for/in the sport and how much they meant to everyone. If you have any pictures or anything at all itd be appreciated!

WOW ! Hi Cole ! I didn't know Gary had any kids ! Man it has been a looooong time... Considering Thom has been owning and racing your Dad's old silver 78 Trans Am for nearly 30 years which BTW is going strong and still at it ! I make all the TMCCC races every year and he has at most of them and Marty and Bryan parker are at a lot of the races too. Marty has not been driving anymore on the track though just lets Bryan run the GTO periodically. As far as the Trans Am it was just this past winter offseason he finally had to build a fresh stroker Pontiac 496 the 501 stroker he had in it that he put like 27 years ago finally tore up some bearings from a freak weird thing the oem pan baffle had come loose and eventually knocked the oil pump ick up off or something.. old Butler billet roller cam was worn into a troughs from the rollers like a set of creek bend wagon tracks ! It all these years was N/A 10.3@130 car IF it was ran out but only race 1/8 mile in TMCCC where is was usually 6.4-6.6 range average. I will put a link to my YT channel there is a lot of TMCCC race video s you will see the cars like your Dads and Marty's https://www.youtube.com/@OneManGarage/featured

I still race the beater white 63 Catalina is is running a 467 400 stroker now and old KRE 310 D ports and went 7.07 last year best and just last Saturday I placed 3rd of 49 cars in Comp class at the Vintage Drags at Little River and was testing my old Quadrajet on the 467 and actual ran a 7.12 at 95 1.57 60 ft with it ! its got 6.9's in it coming soon.. Welcome to PY ! I am on Facebook or Instagram most of the time then on here

I too remember the TA from the street race days and yes it was Legendary back then! Barely remember the 64 that Aubrey had but I bought a switch pitch T400 from Herman Seymour (HS Classics) about 8 years ago that he said he got from Aubrey Parker! Small world! Don't know if it was the same one behind the SD motor. It has some TransGo info on it and has been sitting for about 15 years or more but never run. Planning on using it in my 65 GTO that is going to go together. Haven't thought about those cars in a very long time but they were very well known in DFW back in the day!

Cole I missed this follow up. Gary and I talked a lot at the PSN events! As I did with most of the Parker family at them. Aubrey was always a lot of help. And n=knew every wrecking yard that had a switch pitch TH400 in the North Texas area. Probably saw you as a kid at some! We even had a rare run together with my 78 and the silver car. Those were some great events!
