He is still plugging along, so to speak. Bought QJ parts and spoke with him about my rebuild quite a few times last couple of months.

He'd been saying for years he wanted to spend more time "playing fetch with his dog". He got a lot of exposure here selling carb parts so it served its purpose. He also took a lot of heat for his blunt opinions in responding to post. Either way he brought a lot of knowledge to the board and shared it freely. Thanks Cliff.

Thanks everyone.
Remember sold Ventura. Great test vehicle. Never cared for the Lama hide covered seats
His wife started a winery restaurant something? Hope still going well.
Forgot who he recommended q-jet builds since retired.
Need one built beyond my knowledge past 500hp.

He told me that the Ventura had served its purpose. He wasn't driving it much, so it had to go.
He and his wife started a wine bar/biestro. He told me it wasn't generating any profit, so they got out of it.

A guy that used to work for Cliff started doing builds a couple of years back. His name is Ray Klemm. He buys his parts from Cliff and is close to Cliff.

I communicated with Cliff about the current spring hummingbird migration. He enjoys them like I do. I have three feeders going here in Texas. As of our communication he had not seen any yet at his home in Ohio.
Quite a few have been reported into the southern belt across Illinois, Indiana and Ohio.
Some up the eastern flyway into parts of Pennsylvania.

He has a garage full of quads, a side by side and a pontoon boat. They all get used a LOT! And he enjoys his grandkids.
