Was running perfectly two years ago, car put aside for engine knock, long story short, owner had engine pulled and sent to machine shop which took the pan off and discovered a spun bearing on a connecting rod.
He decided not to have the engine repaired, went different direction for the car, and sold it to me as is. It's all standard size with not much wear, everything is STD, bore and crank (Morraine bearings) and almost no wear in the guides. SR block, 4 bolt block with 2 bolt caps, #12 heads, 9799914 block casting (factory restamp) 3 holes for support, early 1971 cast date on block. what kind of value in this motor ? |
