I traded a 12 year shotgun I had for a very clean low miles rebuilt 403 , really nice deal. I will probably run these heads and the RPM intake I have and use cam and headers from the 350 Cutlass wagon and see how it goes ! https://youtube.com/shorts/uxP9qKjuE...PkAvI1vbpnKr-b

Nice 66 Larry! I'd say you did well on the shotgun trade. Best of luck to you.

Hope that 403 has a built bottom end. Those E heads with make a stock bottom end 403 relieve itself out of the side of the block. Ask me how I know. Should be run on a 455 only with a built bottom end.

Just my experience with the Olds I have run in the past.

I live in Ellis county also. what part are you in?

I am in the SE bottom S of Alma the 403 will be kept in its safe RPM range, re-use the mild 214/224 112 cam that's in the 350 currently should peak at 5300 RPM and not mill heads just do .027" 4.40" bore Cometic head gaskets and raise the 403 from 7.9 to 8.5:1 83 cc to 77cc re-sue the headers and port match my RPM intake to BBO gasket. Not a high dollar or max effort thing just play and see what a true bolt one top end can do on a smog existing short block in nice shape. The #'s 350 would then be out and eventually be a stroker 428 CID flat top, decked short block with a built bottom end & roller cam Take my wagon that's 4370# 3.08 gear 350 cruiser that runs 15.0's on 93 octane to a 13 second 87 octane setup then fix the A/C
