Default Help removing Z Bar please

Howdy, dropped the transmission and I want to to fix all the clutch linkage slop. How they heck do you remove the z bar?????? I removed the frame side nut on the z bar, from what I understand I just lift the z bar up and out but it does not want to budge out of the groove no matter what I do or how big the crowbar is. Is there a way to remove it or loosen it from the engine side? Shop manual doesn't go into detail and I cannot find a video resource. I feel unbelievably stupid. People just say to loosen the nut and lift it out but it will not budge.

Small edit, pulled out the biggest hammer and beat it from the bottom. Is there a more correct way to do this? Can I do it with the transmission installed and what not.

nut comes off fender side that end lifts up in groove, then pull off of engine ball towards fender. Need to also remove the linkage from the clutch pedal. Very tight in there, good luck. See youtube video, camaro the same. https://video.search.yahoo.com/searc...i=OXsnnUKYYWPe
