It's a Mercedes company... https://yasa.com/ Apparently packing more torque in smaller packages for EVs and hybrids Cool to see exotics like this Lamborghini that integrates a Yasa motor into their twin turbo V8 engine: https://yasa.com/applications/lamborghini-temerario/ |

Thank you shiny!
Their going to make all current ev's obsolete. Coworker techs and i discussed ev's since 1st came out. Next step will be shelf reversing charging vehicles via drivetrain huh assemblies. Both fronts drive while rears recharge battery. Or rear drive fronts recharge battery. Possibly do away with 1000s lbs of batteries. Then I'll consider buying one.

Oh how i favor brushless motors for high-HP. But the need for stored power in batteries makes em niche application..for now.
Until the Exhaust-driven Turbo-charge generators are make popular-in-production! Them tiny turbo-driven generators WILL replace the big batteries and reveal the Hybrid gas-EV is superior to all other topologies.

Agree H-I-S.
Brushless power tools for instance.
