I have a 68 convertible with a non-power top.
Is there a constant 12v power source, in or near the trunk, that I can tap into for Digitails or do I have to run a wire from the fuse block? I noticed a doubled up white and orange wire on the drivers side floating around under the top mechanism. It has a plastic connector but is not connected to anything. It doesn't have power with the car off. I would prefer to do this the right way the first time, so anyone with experience, please let me know! Thanks! EDIT: Orange light has power with the door open, so I wonder if it's for a dome light or trunk light and unhooked because it's a convertible with no trunk light. Would this be a good candidate or should I look elsewhere? Last edited by TheCeleryStalker; 04-24-2026 at 08:21 PM. |
