I've been reading though some of the threads but thought I'd better check before undertaking such an important repair. The damages are in the pics and I ordered some 3M 5895 online (ebay)

The large alligator cracks in the center are striking and I could lose the body line in the center, especially on the vertical portion which has many nicks though didn't get into the first picture.

The spiderweb cracking on the back of the bumper runs nearly the entire width of the hood for 1.5- 2 inches and I can catch a thumbnail in them pretty easily. It would be great deal of grinding out.

I see people use epoxy primer as the filler applying 4 coats and blocking and then rinse and repeat a couple more times.

Do I have to cut out these yards of cracks? I suspect there wont be much endura left at that point. There isn't much of a straight line to follow on the nose and its easy to "lose the form" on the large alligator cracks. Any input is appreciated.

Your bumper is fixable. Use a dremel with a pointed tip. You dont have to dig deep just get to fresh material. I did one worse than that here https://forums.maxperformanceinc.com...d.php?t=856807 The nose center line was gone. Thankfully some members posted pics of what they should look like. It looks like you already sandblasted it. Thats a good start. The 3M is good stuff so you are all ready to fix it up. Good luck.

Thank you for the info - that is one heck of a build thread. I"m currently working through the different steps on the bumper and will post up when its complete or I smack a wall.

When you mention epoxy primer, I hope you're referring to SPI epoxy. That's the only way to go. You can fill low spots several times with block sanding as you go.
