Yikes on that 1970 T/A on ebay.

Every panel already replaced. Likely was found in the Lake of the Ozarks before being repainted and put back together in 1987. Nice crusty rusted through frame rails to boot.

I saw the frame damage, but know nothing about frame rot. It may be crunchy underneath, but it is nice looking. Another data point to define what is too far gone and what's worth saving. I used to have a 69 Firebird that had rotting floorboards. It was a bondo red paint job and you could feel the chunks under the carpet. Sold it pretty quickly.

Story about frame rot... early 80s I was still living on Long Island. Went to buy a convertible top off a car a guy was starting to part out. Opened the doors to unlatch the top clamps, couldn't close the doors, body center had dropped like a swayback horse.
