Noticed this car on the way home, circled the block to look. Good solid....with 'chubby' engine......not a problem, but no steering column is. That is a bigger problem than the engine.
What other GM columns will fit?? Is there an after-market??? PJH |

Depends on what you need. Column shift? Floor shift, tilt or non? I believe 64-66 Pontiac A-bodies are interchangeable but not identical. Not a 100% sure on the interchangeable. I would start with eBay. Good luck

If a floor shift car, it's easier. Our sponsor offers a rebuilt column for non-column shift cars, but you would have to eat the core charge. I bought one of these, pretty good. They also have brackets etc if needed.

Im near certain that if you place a want ad on here you can get a floor shift column (64-66 A Body). Folks might even give you a column shift column for free, and with a few hours of handiwork, you can make it appear to be a floor shift column.
