Needs to be fixed but it's not happening. Probably requires tech support that isn't "automatic" and may need a request and/or funding to the host to get it cleaned up.
The forum code was corrupted and as johnta1 informed, some malicious code was added to the home page. Intent appears to be redirection to scummy sites, but could also be worse... so don't click anything you don't trust. Risk is truly not clear to me... I think it all comes with VERY dated forum software that is relatively easy to compromise and is what it is. I'm happy the forum is still here but if it gets sinister, I will not log in until it's fixed...(how would I know? LOL). Maybe there's something like the Cloudflare fix for bots that could be added to protect against these corruption susceptibilities? Meanwhile, the workaround is to access another page first. This seems to set the cookies and basically allows normal use. Good luck to us. |

1st time I've been able to get in on Imac for 4 months. . was able to get in on cell apple XR with no problem Not sure what has been updated lately but no problems today.
Running older Mac and can't update anymore so thought it was the problem.

Well that did not last long. Not able to access site from Mac again this morning. Did not shut puter down last night and it worked last night with no issues. Get to human verification and click on box and it says good them goes back to verify again. On cell now.
