Napa Gold filters are no longer Wix, they are made by PGI, it’s a good filter but I don’t feel it’s the same quality as the OLD Wix. Wix has changed as well since being purchased by Mann Hummel, doesn’t mean it’s better or worse just different, I’d probably go with Baldwin personally.

Refresh my memory on the new Wix filter issues?

PGI build quality is better than the old Wix

Microguard Select is very good, excellent build quality, and easy to obtain.

The old NAPA gold is about 1/4"-3/8" taller than current WIX.
And shorter than AC Delco -which are no longer available.
The Mobil one is smaller diameter and shorter.

I just bought a few Baldwin filters for my 62. Surprisingly heavy in weight compared to most. Next oil change I'll put it on.
