Hey Everybody,
I have been running MT 30551 tires for years and the last one that I bought was build code 3024 with tread surface cracking after 4 or 5 passes. What have been others experinces with resolution options from Mickey Thompson or sellers? Thank you, Craig |

It seems their quality has went down. I run the 28x9 Pro Bracket Radial. Last 3 sets took around 2-3oz per tire to balance. I put a set on Tues before we left for ST Louis and they took 7.5 and 8 oz each to balance and both had lateral run out.
I tried another new set I had and they were the same.

That doesn't sound right. Like most things price has went up and quality down. I would call M/T and ask them. They have warrantied two set of tires for my brother. I remember one pair was due to balance issues.
These investments firms that buy these companies pretty much suck in every way. But they all seem to think standing behind the product makes up for crap quality, inflated prices and poor tech departments. |
