How have you verified the timing marks are correct?
Very common to have the inner and outer creep apart with age.
Pull #1 plug and find TDC

Low vacuum also caused by 6 big holes

One question thats been nagging me is the cam timing.
Do you have Robs gear?
Ive advanced/retarded cam timing via offset bushing and drilling out cam gear
