Default Northwind dominator intake plenum mods

Anyone done any plenum modifications to north wind intake with a dominator flange , any results , pictures would be nice..thanks

Q: Estimate of cost?
Q: Original purpose in design of Cloverleaf with a shorter - more shallow plenum depth?

Going from memory I think that work was 700-800 dollars but it's been a few years
