Hey Everybody,
The first three pictures are of a tire that is 1 1/2 years old with 4 passes. The last one is 14 1/2 years old with 30 + passes. The 1 1/2 year old is from Summit last year. Is this safe - please advise? Thanks, Craig |

The 2nd pick, the wear holes look fine and the edge of the tire still has the rubber **** on them.
I have cut slicks in half that had the wear holes gone and was surprised how thick they were still. When I ran bias slicks I used to get some strange wear patterns. Went to radials and they did not show up. |

I have a customer who recently had the same issue with MT drag slicks after 2 weekends of racing. He contacted Summit where he purchased them and returned them. MT has a quality issue with some slicks. He decided to switch to Hoosier.

Mine look like that but not as bad. You may be able to get them warrantied. Not sure though after that long. I bought mine last fall.
