Default Ram Air manifolds on 66 GTO

For those that have install the ram air manifolds on be first gen gto’s os there a preference on which side should be installed first for ease? I know the left probably won’t be much fun.

It doesn't matter. The only thing that matters on a 64-67 is that they are D-ports and the LH manifold should have a 3-bolt outlet flange

Yes. 9777642 & 646. I ordered from Butler last Monday. Just gathering info. To make the install go as easy as I can from folks that have been there done that.

I have them on my 67 and don't remember any particular difficulties with the installation.

Default Ram air manifolds

Are you folks that have installed ram air manifolds on a first gen GTO did you need to grind the safety catches off on the motor mounts?
