I’m working on my exhaust right now as well! What did you use for rear tailpipe hangers? I can’t seem to find anything that’ll fit my Pypes system back there. Don’t have the stock exhaust, so not sure what it looked like.

I put a complete Pypes system on one of mine maybe 5 years ago, and Pypes provided hangers for the tailpipes that attached in the stock locations. Do they not offer those anymore?

Thanks Keith, I actually contacted Pypes on Thurs. and mentioned I didn’t get them my kit. Mike was kind enough to send a free set of rear hangers along with 2 more band clamps which I ordered from him. They should be arriving today!

Took the 70 to it's first show since being completed. About 600 cars total. We were in a barn that had 36 cars, 12 from GM, 12 from Ford and 12 Mopars that were chosen by the show organizers as the main attraction this year.

Was pretty cool. Lots of interest, many cool stories shared, and even a few solid attempts at trying to buy it lol

I'm really jealous of that perfect gap you have between the front fender and the enduro. It's beautiful.

Just trying to get it a little tighter. It looks good the way it is though. Nice and even.

They're not the most fun thing to get dialed in.

Original cars I've owned have always had the front bumper flush with the fender (often to a point where the bumper's outer edge endura has actually become deformed), and the leading edge of the hood a bit rearward of the front of the fender to create the gap required for hood motion.

But when I first saw your picture, like jhein I thought the way yours is gapped looked really good - consistent all the way across.

The car looks absolutely fantastic!

Small world... I got this same picture sent to me Sunday from a very good friend of yours(McCune) I've gotten to be friends with him on Nasty Z28 over the years. I've got a 1973 TypeLT/Z28, similar to his, no RS though & mines a project in waiting, which will be waiting a little longer since I had a 70 Formula follow me home a couple yrs ago.

Oh that’s funny! Me and Jim go way back to elementary school. He had a 73 Z/28 and I had a 71 Base Camaro in high school. Lots of crazy stories from those days! Nice Formula!! His 73 Type LT Z/28 RS is an absolutely incredible Legends Gold award Camaro (that he just sold).

Wow! Didnt know that. He had told me that the car was so nice he was scared to drive it & couldn't really enjoy it tho. I havent been able to get on Nasty Z in about 6weeks or so. I dont have a computer, do everything from my phone & it just wont let me click on that site. No problems with anything else.🤷 Not sure what the deal is. My wife has a tablet, I need to try &.log in on that I guess. Just seem to be so busy lately. Havent been on here much either. Just got on here Tuesday to post pics of my Engine Bay makeover in the What did u do to your Pontiac today thread... That has kept me busy, Been sending original parts all over the country the last few months to be rebuilt. I sent the alternator to Utah. 😎 Finally made some headway on it the last few weeks. Yea, Jim has sent me a couple old pics & stories of you & him lol. He seems like a great guy. My best friend & I met in Kindergarten & still see each other regularly, so we have that in common. My wife moved all over when she was growing up & is envious that I still have friends from my childhood. It really is something special to have friendships that are 45 & 50 years old now. 👍🤘
