I've been trying to balance a slightly bent wheel that had some runout to no avail.Ibroke tire bead to install 4oz of tire balancing beads and removed all weight.Car drives excellent with no vibration at all.Has anyone else had good results with beads?

Joe ,I used to have 3 one ton and 1 1.5 ton trucks…
The first time I’d heard about the beads (at that time they called them a bag of Equal) I laughed.

Since it’s near impossible with all the technology we have these days it seems near impossible to buy a truck tire that’s actually round… short of shaving half of them off with a tire truer, the beads do a nice job. At least they did for me.

Back in the 70’s Goodyear was dropping a steel ball in side about the size of a marble, did same thing.

I use a road force balancer at my friend's shop, does a good job getting rid of vibrations. I try to avoid beads on a passenger car. I've used them in trucks for years, though.

A guy I used to work with swears by the balance beads for balancing the 37” mud terrain tires on his Toyota FJ..

I run them in 37" and up tires. They work well, especially given how heavy those tires can be.

I've never run them in a car sized tire, so I can't comment on that

If ya got a slight wobble to you wheel and road force balancing couldn't fix it ,for me the beads were the cats meow
