I'm in need of doing a remote filter for a couple reasons. First, the Dougs headers allow me to only use a small LS sized filter which I'm not fond of. Second, I'd like to get an oil cooler on this engine for lapping events.
I'm looking for suggestions and especially pictures of how you're running your remote filter setups on the first gen. Thanks!

Mines a second gen. But I put a double filter housing on the rad support, with plans to extend to an oil cooler later

Thanks. I do like the mounted to core support idea, but I'd likely have to do a battery location for that to work.
I was also leaning towards over the heater core as well.

I would say on the passenger side firewall keeping the lines as straight and as short as possible.
