Had a 69 428 in 68 fb with 3.23s senior yr hs.
Nothing could beat on street 1/4 or a mile 3 counties. Till a buddy took his dads 68 440 road runner with 3.91 to school one day. Both his dad my brother 67 fb with 455 raced at strip. Chevy Dodge and especially Fords couldn't keep up. 455 Buick and 455 Olds almost did. HP? No idea. Guess bragging rights. Torque wins!
