My dipstick is most likely incorrect.... I've read the engine takes 7 quarts with filter
Is that correct? I'll mark it correctly at the next oil change. 74 455 George

Only 1966-67 V8īs uses the 6 Qts dipstick (7 Qts with new long filter PF7), 1968 and later V8īs uses 5 Qts dipstick (6 Qts with new short filter PF24).
