Here's one a friend sent me - the man to the right was 50 on this day back in 1971.
Cool blacked out tail panel on the Carousel Red 69 400 bird!

Nope. Not in this pic. I would have probably been in my mid-late teens.

This one's from a local tow/body shop that I ran across while looking for a frame shop. (Which, surprisingly, are hard to find in Southern California.)

Excellent additions Gents! Thanks for keeping the thread alive and going.
Chris - love that White 62 GP on the White Ramp truck. You should post a link or post that over on the 62 - 66 Big Pontiac Tech Forum "Let's see your pictures" Thread. I think they'd love it there, and someone may know some history about the car and backstory too. Link: http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...472628&page=44 |

Talk about a high center of gravity, and weight up front, that hauler must have been interesting to drive.

I saw that today too. All that stuff that came with it too... The 80s was the best time to buy a used car in history. Wish I had filled up a building somewhere with them.

You guys did notice that the price was without engine I guess....Still though, that's crazy cheap by today's standards.

This is a picture I saw in the eBay ad for the SCCA racing Corvette that's on the track. It was supposedly taken around 1980. The T/A on the right would have been new then, and it's cool that there's a nice condition blue '70 - '72 there... less than 10 years old then.
