Notice that her racing income is the lowest of all those listed and her endorsements are more than her racing income.

If you want to see what her earnings based on racing performance in 2015 are, check out this link:

http://espn.go.com/rpm/standings

It shows that Danica is 22nd in points and has purse earnings of only $2,727,314 while driving for one of the best teams in NASCAR.

But interestingly enough, 2nd and 3rd tier team drivers behind Danica in points have higher earnings:

23 AJ Allmendinger $3,154,466
24 Casey Mears $3,025,678
25 David Ragan $3,118,638
26 Sam Hornish Jr. $2,992,663
27 Tony Stewart $3,026,387
28 Trevor Bayne $3,268,260

I want to know how they quantified "most popular" before I give any credit to the claim.

If, as Brad suggests, it is based on inumber of nternet searches, that has nothing to do with popularity. It just means that people are looking for information on the person for either good or bad reasons.

Some of those searches could simply be dirty old men looking for suggestive photos of the Ice Princess because they think she is attractive. Or they could be looking for photos of the most recent wreck she was involved in.

Neither search has anything to do with her popularity as an actual race car driver.

Tom

Not sure where you got this info, but Danica is no where near the money draw (for a sponsor) that you seem to think she is.

There is a reason that she is going from GoDaddy, a sponsor with huge name recognition, to Nature's Best. Nature's Best is a company that I think I can safely say very few members of this board had ever heard of before.

Meanwhile, Jimmy is sponsored by Lowes, Tony has Mobil 1 and Bass Pro Shops, Jr. has Nationwide Insurance and Jeff has Dupont.

Can picture Champ grinding his teeth and pounding his head every race LOL!
Don't pay any attention to her(like on ignore list), so doesn't bother me one way or other.

I read your post and comprehended what you wrote.

Once again, I want to know the source of your info. Give me the link - so I can read what is actually said. I'm not saying you didn't find some wacko list like that - just want to read what criteria or justification they used.

When I use google or bing to search "most popular race car drivers" - the first thing that shows up is "Top 50 Race Car Drivers/Celebrity Net Worth".

Which has nothing to do with being the most popular - but Danica isn't on the list. The only female listed is Alexis Dejoria - a drag racer.

http://www.celebritynetworth.com/lis...e-car-drivers/

None of the other google links takes me to anything with a list like you're referencing.

As far as money goes - in your post YOU stated:

Quote:
This is for the WORLD.AS far as a sponsor is concerned Danica value is way ahead of Tony.
If Danica has a higher value to a sponsor than Tony, then they will pay more MONEY to be the sponsor.

Tony attracts much bigger sponsors than the Touring Princess.

Apparently, your FACTS do not concur with "Champ's"(of what?) "truth".

You really should stop trolling after me. Every time you do it you just embarrass yourself. See your claims about Papa John's Camaro on that thread...

I asked for the source of the info as I want to be able to see it so I can understand what the how and why they were ranked that way.

It's been nearly 24 hours since I questioned the source. Tom has made 5 posts and has yet to let us know where he found that info.

All he has done is claim his info is factual, but has refused to give us a link and has claimed that Brad's source (that just happens to have the exact same info Tom posted) is not where he found it.

If it is a site like Brad found, basing popularity on internet voting generates results like the All Star voting in the most recent MLB All Star game.

On Instagram yesterday, she posted a photo of an empty box of her now famous fig bars. And claimed that she'd need to put an order in for a bunch more boxes. Yes I follow Manica on Instagram for the entertainment factor. Occasionally she'll post a video of herself doing yoga or handstands. Make no mistake, whether she wins or not, or is most popular or not, she's a marketing machine....AND TO HER BANK ACCOUNT, THAT IS ALL THAT MATTERS

Danica's net worth is only $18 mil, which is the same as AJ Allmendinger - and nobody claims that AJ is a marketing machine.

To most folks, $18 mil is a huge number, but when you consider:

Bobby Labonte's net worth is $45 mil

Tony's is $70 mil.

Dale Jr's is $300 mil.

By NASCAR standards, Danica is a pauper.

Famous Birthdays is the website that Tom quoted from.

http://www.famousbirthdays.com/about.html

This link tells how they arrive at the persons celebrity status. You can click boost if you want to elevate their celebrity status, LOL. The Waltrip brothers were most likely clicking boost for the last 3 years.

IMO there are much more creditable sources than this one to determine ranking of motorsports celebrities. If someone wants to believe this source then by all means be my guest.

Randy, have you been clicking boost too?

Tom, this one has the exact drivers you cited same order, it is Famous Birthdays. Does this look like the site you quoted from?

Link :http://www.famousbirthdays.com/profe...cardriver.html

The first link I posted is how they arrive at their "Celebrity Status". How their boost button works, etc.

FYI I googled "Most Famous Race Car Drivers" and arrived at that site. That site has the exact same drivers in the same order you quoted from.

I apologize if it's not the same site, however having the top 10 in the same order of your post seems more than coincidental. I then researched on how they arrive at their listings and order. That was the first link, the second link is the actual list.
