I don't know about that.

The standings say she is the worst at driving the best equipment. 28th out of 32 that ran every race last year.

Everyone behind her in the points is driving third tier equipment.

But then, some people refuse to deal with the truth...

If success is your net worth, then she's not worth much, if driving success is the benchmark she's worth even less. Any successful NASCAR drivers are 2-3 times her net worth. Kurt Busch who endorses almost nothing, because of his numerous firings from NASCAR teams, and bad press, and now trouble with the law over the last GF and banned from NASCAR, is worth over twice what the touring princess is

If she worked on a straight percentage of her share of the winnings only, her net worth would be in the toilet.

Her principle NASCAR earnings are for the women and girls that buy her novelties, and other people that love an underdog non winner.

Looks like Denny found out what a loose race car does.

She will never earn a win. Even her longshot everyone-else-in-front-of-her-wrecks-out chances are slim to none. End of story.

Agree.

Seven cars in front of her wreck, she goes from 18th to 11th!

Then after a lap or 2 she's back to 18th or slower.

One good thing for her is she probably didn't have any tire problems.

Her only rubber issues will be exposed when she turns up pregnant.

After 2 races. This is a marathon, not a sprint. She wasn't on the lead lap in either race. She was 21st at Daytona and 16th yesterday.

She won't maintain 16th though, without racing hard enough to stay on the lead lap consistently.

Last year in the first two races she finished 18th and 22nd - yet finished 28th in the points.

In 2013 she finished 20th and 33rd in the first two races and finished 27th.

In reality, she's getting worse, not better.

FWIW - Danica's teammate Regan Smith - substitute driver for Kurt Busch does not get any Cup points for his efforts. In his two races he's finished 16th and 17th - so would be ahead of the Ice Princess if he was running for points.

Funny thing is she says it's her 3rd year in cup and she says she knows she's got to perform better, but I see not even a small indication that her performance is stepped up.

The only way she is on the lead lap many times is a lucky dog, she has never unlapped herself the hard way by passing the lead car during competition. She is usually so far back that by the time an incident happens in front of her she has more than enough time to avoid it. Many times she almost comes to stop on the track when an accident happens in front of her.

Notice another thing lately? The flow of commercials featuring the touring princess has dropped way off, no return on investment for the sponsors. By the end of 2015 she may be out of a quality ride if she even has one, and the Go Dani sponsorship may be diminished if not gone altogether. Both contracts expire at the end of this year.

I have to wonder if in the Stewart Haas stables if your not a crew member that is in the upper echelon, are you punished by having to be on her crew? You know full well you'll never be in a victory lane celebration, unless as Richard Petty says, no one else shows up to race.

Her days are numbered, and no one is to blame (even though she tries to blame shift) but the person in car. It's not the nut holding the steering wheel on, that's to blame, it's the nut holding on to the steering wheel.

All the supporters of her at the beginning of this thread said, "give her the benefit of the doubt", "she needs more seat time is all, and she'll be right in there with the best of them", how's that working out after 3 years?

Kyle and Richard Petty had her pegged long ago, she can drive a race car, but she's not a race car driver. Truer words were never spoken.

A solid 27-28th place driver in top 5-10 equipment, if that's your cup of tea, then drink up...................

Question

With the clock ticking down to the start - any takers on Danica as "The Cinderella Story" @ Vegas?

She did take out Gordon on the last lap of practice, sending him from the pole to the end of the line...

She said they texted, and "they're good"...

I commented to my Mrs how PC Gordon's interview was regarding her "taking him out" and imagine if he stormed down pit road and poked & shoved her in the chest as she is known to do to others. Heaven forbid she received the same physical treatment she dishes out.

And it's not just men she confronts and pushes around, as I recall a pit wall spat she had with Milka Dunna during an Indy Car race...

26th yesterday although she was on the lead lap at the end of the race - I think she only spun out once.

23rd in points overall and on her way down.

I want her to totally dominate, win nearly every race, that way the door will open for women to play in the NBA, MLB, NFL, NHL, etc.
