All the AC stuff looked to be in place and hooked up. Was told it functions, but when I tried I couldn't get it to work.
![]() AC bracket to intake was there to as well as stove insert and elbow with flat spot. It's a great car and the work is the little engine details and some part hunting and elbow grease to make it more correct. Just brackets and trim wires and fuel lines too.

Did the seller give you an idea of the listing reserve Mike?

Mike, I like it just a few easy corrections and it would be a perfect mate for the 4 speed. You can always set up a cot in your office if you come home with it because its a good chance thats where your nights will be spent.

Good to see the seller is motivated.

is a bit stiff...if that car had 30k original miles or less and the engine not rebuilt...I would say that it was a fair price... 1972 FORMULA 455 H.O.with the bonus functional scoops are quite rare...still nicely optioned (even pw!)...although replacing the mismatched seat cover would be interesting.....I wonder if that cloth material is available??...if it is then no problem as LEGENDARY could easily make a new cover ...and a very nice color combo with that stripe!!!

It does look pretty solid and dry its just that darn color
Sure seems to be allot of them??? Just pulling your chain Mike ![]() I really love those side strips and the bird on the back spoiler. Is that rear bird decal correct for a 72 Formula? Has allot of small issues under the hood from the fan shroud to spray booming misc parts but all do able with time and knowledge. Craig, you might be selling another hood spring to the new owner??? Very fair price and would imagine it sells this round. |

Factory equipped auto a/c, no rally guage, no posi HO Formula's are not exactly top of the foodchain HO Formula's.

.....no gauges, mismatched interior, wrong exhaust, wrong carb and intake, no stick, ....The seller will lose money here and so will the buyer if he pays anything near the BIN and fixes what's wrong. |

Love the black fabric & vinyl seats...wish my '72 T/A had that code interior.
Back to the OP Formula, if I was in the market for a 30K+ priced HO Formula, it would have to be a no A/C M22 '71, preferably one with some early 70's stock or modified class racing history. The few '71 HO Formulas that I know of that were ordered like that were strippers, didn't have gauges, or Ram Air. Their original rears with cone type Warner Motive posi's are usually MIA, or the posi needs replacing if the stock rear is still intact. Thankfully, have yet to run across a Warner Motive in a '72.

...the 1972 red S.C.C.A. TRANS AM has that rare cloth interior...I also saw a Brewster green 1973 T/A that had a light tan custom interior with the cloth...really impressive looking on some creative color combinations if you used some thought on an original owners ordering of there car...and unless that cloth is available (that is an interesting thought to me)...you have a major interior malfunction that needs repairing...why no underneath photos is a mystery...if you are selling a car on the web (especially for that kind of price) the seller needs to be obliging...I believe only 3 combinations regarding cloth, Black, light Tan and I do not know the 3rd...70's with low back and cloth would be awesome!!..later horse collar seats looked very cool with the cloth and also how the cloth matched the upper door panel inserts too!!!..P.Y. members with cloth interiors deserve there own thread!!......but I still really like the Formulas with the stripe now!...definitely a love it or hate it option...without the stripe, your Formula (especially the bigger engine option) can be that stealth like TRANS AM incognito (even more so without a rear spoiler)...but add that stripe and now you are calling attention to yourself!! (and deservedly so!)
