How many of you remember these red, white, and blue 1972 editions from Ford? I have the TV commercial for the Pinto. Ron Howard, before his Happy Days fame, is loading up his Pinto for a trip.

I like the color combo of your W-30. Here is an old picture of when I use to be into Oldsmobiles (and into your traditional musclecars). My old Rally Red '70 W-30 was pretty cool in that it came with the optional horn rim blow steering wheel. The brown 72 Cutlass Supreme parked on the street served as the "beater" that would never die. I had paid $250 for that car. The '69 H/O belonged to my cousin, it only had 52K miles on it at that time. I wish I still had some of these Oldsmobiles.

Nice . . . as a Pontiac guy, it was nice luck to fall into the Oldsmobile fold.

That there are the two coolest Oldsmobiles made! I love the 70-71 W-30's and the 68-69 H/O's.

AMC also did Cassini and perhaps another variant, although they may not have been for the Matador.

There is a guy in Florida (I will not mention his name) that has pretty much bought up alot of Olds 442s during the last three decades. Here is a peak of his warehouse of the what he calls his "junky" stuff.

Going back to the weird.....have you ever seen a 1978 Chevrolet Concours (Nova) that came from the factory with a Buick Skylark front clip? Yes, these were factory made and sold exclusively in Mexico.

AMC was, if anything, very courageous with their interior designs in the 1970's. Here's a 1976 Pacer D/L with the berry Basketry Print interior.

Anyone remember these back in the day? The 1978 Dodge Aspen R/T. I never saw a Super Coupe (top photo), but I recall seeing a few of the Aspen R/T's.
