I know you think all the discussion reflects a promising future for Sprint Cup, but that isn't necessarily the case. Boring follow the leader racing and low/no tallant drivers getting rides because of who their daddy/brother is/was or how tight a chicks ass is won't cut it long-term.

Yeah, I can see where you might consider a driver with 19 Cup wins, 38 Nationwide wins, 6 truck wins, Rookie of the year in Trucks and Nationwide, and Sprint Cup Points runner up twice to be considered worthless.

You posted his picture. I didn't include it in the quote because I wasn't talking about him.

I can't help how points chasers run that track, but I've been around it enough to know its 2 grooves, high banking and high speed offer a perfect venue for a 43 hungry driver shootout.

"She hasnt earned a ride".
Not into most other series, but never heard of at least 10 other drivers before they started racing in cup.

Yep, X2, as well as dirt tracks in my case. Where the race lasts more than 10 seconds and you have to turn the steering wheel to get to the finish line.

People with ADHD can't be NASCAR or oval track fans because they can't focus long enough to enjoy the experience...........................

I also know what a "Tinker's Damn" is, My father used the phrase regularly...............

Basically it means something that has little value or merit, usually someones opinion.

tinker's damn
noun
1.
the least value or merit; nothing or anything at all: It's not worth a tinker's damn.
Idioms
2.
care / give a tinker's damn, to have or feel little or no concern; be unaffected or unmoved: I don't care a tinker's damn for their opinions.
Also, tinker's dam.

Origin:
1830–40; from tinkers' alleged habit of cursing frequently (hence weakening the force of a curse)

I know you were,

but a few posts back someone else asked what it was, and I think that they had never heard the phrase, so just to be safe I posted to cover both.
