For the most part, we are wrapping up the in car testing. The car has been on a chassis dyno, and made a dragstrip pass, so we have a lot of real world data. Last item is the installation of a Griptek pulley to increase belt adhesion. I expect to be shipping kits late January/early February for the cast iron factory heads, as well as unported aluminum heads.
Several new things are underway for the project: 1.) I am building a small displacement Pontiac blower motor based on the 350P block using ported Edelbock D port heads. Butler Performance has shown some interest in this project, and they are being very helpful in supporting this small displacement dyno effort. There are quite a few guys who have cars with the 350P block, and this gives them the option to get some serious power by installing the blower kit. While the previous, larger displacement 455 engines were intended to show what can be done with stock cast iron heads, this project will show the potential for a engine with ported aluminum heads. Expect some big numbers from the venerable 350P block, which are plentiful and not very expensive. 2.) I am working on a option to allow the use of a mechanical water pump instead of the Meziere electric pump that is required for the current kit. This is somewhat more difficult to package, but some people might prefer the traditional mechanical style water pump, so the plan is to offer the option for either. AC of course is optional for either. I have the CAD pretty much done that shows the package will fit, I just need to scan and mockup the physical pump to confirm the mounting and belt wrap is OK. This would be a Milodon mechanical pump, no factory pumps or flowcoolers will fit. While the Milodon pump is initially cheaper than the electric Meziere, it does require a 6 rib custom pulley (which I am making), so it is likely to be about the same price. Leave a comment below if you have a preference. 3.) I have made some changes to the manifold/riser castings to allow for extra port material for those that have more heavily ported aluminum heads, such as the Edelbrock 325+ cfm D (or round port) heads, or the KRE equivalent. This extra material will allow for port matching of the blower manifold to these larger heads. There has also been some discussion of a more significant revision to accomodate some seriously high flowing heads, but there is nothing concrete just yet. Below are some mock-up photos of the 350P project. I call it the "LSK" package. If you have to ask what LSK stands for- then you haven't been paying attention. Out of the box Edelbrock D port with scanning targets. The entire head was scanned. ![]() Overlay with the correct Cometic gasket- these contain the eyebrow reliefs for the 350P block. ![]() Heads mocked up on the 350P block. I 3D printed intake and exhaust valves of various sizes to confirm that they have adequate cylinder wall clearance at maximum valve lift- considering the block eyebrows. You can see the tops of the 3D printed valves on the forward side of the driver side head. With no crank yet in place, it's easy to see through the bottom of the cylinder what the clearances are. ![]() Here is a partial 3D printed mock up showing the extra material applied around the injector bosses to allow for porting material on the flange face. ![]() Some shots of the blower mocked up on the aluminum headed 350Pblock. ![]()

The production water crossover castings have arrived from the foundry, completing all the Rev1 tooling, and casting work. We now have all the production castings and can now release the production kits for sale.
Here is a shot of the first machined water crossover. The "doughnut" through hole is the same size as a 3/8" NPT tap drill, so this can be easily drilled for a pipe plug if someone wants to block off the bypass and not use the doughnut. This crossover fits right under the supercharger front drive housing. ![]() I had some spare time on my hands so I redesigned the crank trigger to make it a little easier to adjust (and a little cheaper). Pretty happy with it now.![]() ![]()

I like the crank trigger, wish I could run one. I have a Billet Specialties serp setup, and spacing it out would be a nightmare. It runs very true and don't want to muck with it.
Someone needs to make a SFi balancer with a wheel built into it, one that will work with OE setups. I realize ATi makes one, but believe it only is available with a chebbie pulley bolt pattern. Lots of people are in the same boat, certain there would be a great market for it. .

I am working on another high flow version of the Pontiac supercharger using DCI Ram Air V heads. Here is a preliminary mock up just to verify general fitment. New manifolds and risers will have to be developed, but the blower fits right in using my production water crossover and water outlet. These heads flow 400+ cfm. If this project goes forward, it will be available towards year end.

I've finished the engineering of the RAV supercharger package, and 3D printed the new manifolds needed to accommodate the enormous RAV ports.
Notably, the kit retains all the components unchanged from the other supercharger kit versions, including optional A/C and the power steering pump. It even uses the same blower drive belt- which means that the blower hood height is identical to the iron head, and E head versions. As most know, the RAV head is much taller than the factory head, but we maintained the low hood height of the standard iron head version- which took some doing. I am meeting with the foundry on Monday to discuss tooling this project, let me know what you guys think. This will not be an inexpensive package, but the sim says that a small displacement Pontiac will make 1200+ HP using this setup. I wanted to share that I ordered one of these custom supercharger kits from John @ Innova Engineering and the transaction went very smoothly. He was easy to work with, responsive and provided a comprehensive kit which included a list of other required items and an instruction manual. It will be a while before I am able to install and test as this is for a complete engine build from scratch and a chassis replacement on a 68 Firebird. So far so good, and I am really pleased that John provides an option for restomods that want to stick with a pontiac powerplant.

A few more updates:
We've completed two new versions of the basic supercharger kit, one with the long promised AC upgrade, and the other version using a mechanical water pump instead of the standard electric water pump. The AC kit can be retrofitted to any of the previous versions, and can used with either the mechanical or electric water pump versions. One benefit of developing the mechanical water pump version is that now we can offer an upgrade to any Pontiac (11 bolt water pump) to convert to a serpentine belt system with 140 amp alternator ,Type II power steering pump, and crank trigger ignition (optional) as a bolt on. Later on, a supercharger kit can be added keeping all the serpentine parts and the crank trigger.
