68 Firebirdbird convertible in CA with a reserve at $2550. The Fred Flinstone floor rust issues are deep and I wouldn't touch this car with a 10 foot pole, but it is a stick car with a lot of parts.

69 350 4-speed Firebird in NJ at NR $10K with $16K BIN. Too much rust for me, but does come with quarters.

This car looks like whoever is selling it doesn't know much about it. I would definitely see this one in person before buying it. 68 Firebird in Texas at $15K OBO. Too good to be true? Looks like a nice car with an interior that needs a redo.

Here's a strange one. 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible currently being restored. Guy claims he has $90K into it and the restoration is paid for. 455 and a frame off for $52.5K in NJ. I like the proposed result... pretty slick looking car. If you could talk him down there might be a really good deal here, especially if you wanted to take it in a different direction.

That blue '67 is really sharp...was the fold down seat an option?

Rode hard and put up wet 68 Firebird at NR $3500 in Pennsylvania. Too much rust IMO to restore and not worth the asking price.

Those repop seat covers look like crap. Nice car otherwise.. If it still had the original seat covers.. I'd consider bidding.

Pretty nifty Firebird, original paint is a huge plus but I think the seat covers etc look like this shapeless pui covers.

67 Firebird HO "tribute" in NJ at $37.9K. I don't care if the numbers match. This car is drop dead sexy and I'd rather have it than the blue car posted before this one.

I'm actually shocked to hear you guys talking about a car's value being linked to its original interior. We live in different worlds for sure. My 69 Firebird 350HO 4-speed posi convertible (Palladium silver with black interior) doesn't have its original engine or 4-speed trans. I have a rebuilt NOM 350HO correct WN block with #48 heads down to the correct carb and a 69 M20 and a rebuilt M21 for it... but the numbers don't match the car. My plan was to put RA long branch mainfolds and a 3" Flowmaster exhaust (have all of it) and just drive it. I also have the original interior that has 55K miles on it and stored inside the whole time. There is a rip in the driver's seat, but it's perfect other than that. I have another set of 69 seats (W/headrests) and another convertible back seat completely redone in black. I love red interiors and my plan was to take my extra seats and have them redone in red. I would keep the entire interior... door panels and everything put away. Now you're making me rethink my plan. A 69 Palladium 4-speed 350HO with the original interior sounds better now... change of plans. I didn't know it was important to anyone?
Here's a 70 GTO convertible in Oklahoma at $12.8K with a reserve. Sounds like the guy rebuilt the entire NM engine and did all the stuff you have to do to drive it around town. The car was originally white and the interior looks original. https://www.ebay.com/itm/13425451605...Bk9SR_j4vuLwYA ![]() ![]()

So I have a question for you original interior guys. Assume you have the 70 GTO convert pictured above. How do you go about fixing it "correctly" so it isn't obvious it has brand XYZ seat covers? Really appreciate input on this.
About that 70 convert, man would it look good without the wing in stock form. I can't find an original white/tan car, but this one comes close. Drop dead sexy.

Legendary interiors are the closest to original. PUI covers can be spotted immediately, although I recall reading somewhere that they have a new line that is much closer.
