That sinking feeling when on vacation and thinking: "Did I turn off the water?"

all of these cars have been save or moved since i took these pics..i went to a storage facility to look a 69 AMX..and wow what a surprise..all are gone now

i was there week ago..new owners of the facility etc and everything is gone but the late model stuff..or i have watched it go thru craigslist and disappear...AND THINK..WOW...II SHOULDA CHECKED THEM OUT BETTER..LOL

i got to talk to the son or brother of the owner of all these pontiacs..he saved them and now are inside going thru resto..the owner passed away and the guy had to pay $28,000 in back storage fees to get the cars back..i really think he said it was his brother..I actually got a close up of the 2 70s the 64 and the 74..touched them looked at them etc

its a judge..a real one..ram IV and all (WAS TOLD DONT KNOW)

on the other side of the big truck and 60s moBile home is another..a real one..black Ram III

and then theres the Blue 64 GTO convert....tripower 4 speed...next to the 4 speed 74 GTO

and then down the isle across the lot is the 67 442 with tach and gauges...the sidewinder tach...a 4 speed and an olds tripower under the hood..

and a 421 tripower HO and a 4 speed catalina(dont know for sure..but believe it..i just didnt get close enough to check it out)

and this cream puff burried to the rims

Story goes like this...on the Judges

Storage facil owner and pontiac guy are life long friends...decades long..they have a good relationship and do things for each other...decade 1 passes...decade 2 passes...facility owner marries a woman half his age..and she likes money...few years later...facil owner dies...wife takes over...she starts figuring out what the pontiac guy owes etc...pontiac guy gets sick..real sick...and dies...brother of said pontiac guy gets in touch with her and she presents a bill..he pays...takes cars to arkansas..all told by a kid i met there to look at the 64 GTO convert he listed on craigslist for sale..i recognize it get there asap and i get the story...and a guy i taqlked to on the phone..he is either the brother or the son..cant remember...

I dont know all the facts..just repeating what i was told the best i remember....but $28k is alot of money..but was worth it...because he paid it
