Any CV'S doing 9200+ Why the hell don't you read what has been posted by Bill. Short answer yes... Multiple times and witnessed by ehead and hiport fans.

Sorry if facts confuse you and rumors aren't true.

With him getting new bullets of the same caliber as we speak, its a time thing now.
I have always wondered why he did not step up to at least a garden variety E head wide port. If you read what he posted, reliability if first and foremost, power is secondary. WPs have offset rockers and they do break. Non offset stuff is very reliable with simple geometry, tough, reliable. And if he has plenty of power to compete as is I think its tough for him to change. The old engine has brought him where he is today and still running strong as ever.
You can see a part of him likes beating the best of the best with his basic, if you want to call it that, old school Pontiac. He takes great pride in doing so much of the hard stuff, tuning ect himself. I take pride in as doing as much as I can myself.
And you know George, you saying he did not say a lot is somewhat derogatory. He does not post much and it took effort for him to take the time to post and tell us things he does not have to. Thankful he did.
Said plenty and more if you can read between the lines. You even got a mention, of the world without capitol "g".
Right now, same heads, smaller ci. Downgrading it seems.

No he's off lol.

Our Pontiac motors have always been happiest with strokes under 4.25.. Our geometry for example puts less side loads on pistons aiding ring seal. The piston doesn't come as far out of the bore which is another advantage helping ring seal.
Then you can also take into consideration side load and point where peak piston speeds( not avg) occur. Piston dwell TDC/BDC also a factor. Yep them old 4" stroke "440" combos work great. A 4.255 bore 4" stroke would be a different 455 than we know lol.

Get some turbos and injection from Travis and use a 4" stroke then turn the RPM up. Might be better to use a 4.25 bore while you're at it.
