Does anyone have a part number for the engine block heater in 1973? My Pontiac plant Brewster SD was born with one!

Thanks!

I was looking at some assembly manual pages. Could be missing a page or two also though.

Default Brewster Green SD:

I had no idea they built Trans Ams at the Pontiac Plant. You learn something new everyday.

Beautiful survivor car. I love these unmessed with originals.

Another one I'd be happy to swap my car for!

Love it. I see the HD alternator, but I can't see the rear window defroster. Can you? No honeycombs on the PHS but it's a nice addition.

Hmmmmmm, I thought this one sold last time. Wasn't the auction ended early then?

It's C49 on the PHS..

The defroster switch is on the dash to the right of the cigarette lighter.

You can barely see the grids in this shot:

I believe because this was a no cost upgrade, it would not be listed on PHS invoicing.

And, the side of rear defogger can be seen here too.

This is truly a survivor, and truly a barn find. I owned this car for about 5 days. The owner called me when I had Brewster for sale. I flew out there and made a deal with him. The day before the transport arrived he backed out. I looked it over very carefully and it was all there, including the original exhaust. A few rust spots around the rear window and the front nose was touched up, but that should be ok. One picture in the trunk shows the original Arizona plates that were on the car when new in AZ. There were also several oil change receipts in the center console with mileage and dates recorded.

For a car that sat so long it sure is putting on some miles now. Even if there on the net.
Notice those black fender grills !

Greg, whats with the rear profile of the owner, didnt he want his picture taken ?

Brew, I'm not sure about those fender extractor grills. They look like they were black when installed into the extractor housing, but I think there is white overspray on the grill. Here's a crop from a high resolution picture, and one with modified contrast/gamma.

The mileage when I looked at it 2 or so years ago was 49,0something or other.

Don't get me started on the previous owner. Of course this would be the owner prior to the one currently selling the car. I've only had a deal like that go south one other time. I think I chatted with you about this car as the deal was going down.

C49 on a car going in to Arizona? That seems a bit odd.
Does anyone know why the TA was parked untouched for so long?

what was his reason for backing out? how much did he agree to sell it for before backing out?

I took the car out for a 20 mile cruise today. It ran like a top. Had to stop and buy a turn signal bulb when I noticed the LH turn signal was coming on but not flashing. Installed the new bulb and all is well in the world again.

Should I sell this car or not? Hmmmmmmm!

What no pictures?

I took mine out yesterday for a 75 mile rip. Just had a gas going through state forest hitting triple digits. No county mounties and very few cars to be concerned about.
It was awesome and I cant help but love these cars.

Mine will be in Hemmings next month and Im asking top dollar for the pair. I doubt they'll sell but if they do I might be calling you Bob????
