Well the barn Judge is very near to being totally finished. I am restoring the jack mechanism and a couple other small things and the car is done. We drove it out in the yard today for a few pictures of the finished exterior.

More pictures to come of the interior, undercarriage and engine compartment after they are detailed.

Simply unbelievable.

On top of that, note that this thread was started on Feb 13 of this year!

another thing i forgot to mention...while reading through some of my old HPP magazines at work the other nite i came across some info regarding this car in the June issue of 2005, article "How To Spot A Fake Judge" and i quote

"A lilttle known option made its debut in 1970. Carrying code WT7, it was a semigloss black rear deck spoiler, and it only came on a Cameo White Judge. Fifty-one cars were so optioned in 1970."

can you imagine...1 of 51 cars

great find and i cant say it enough...AMAZING RESTORATION!!!!!!

Should I ask what the price was to complete the restoration?

He owns it, but it's going to be up for sale.

Jason:
Congratulations on a beautiful finished project. I have thoroughly enjoyed following this thread and feel that I have witnessed the re-birth of a great automobile. Your shop does very nice work.

For those of you who have been drooling over the amazing pictures of this restoration, all I can say is that you have not seen anything until you have seen this car in person.

I had the privilege of seeing this car first hand about a month ago and the attention to detail and quality of workmanship is...nothing short of outstanding!! Jason has the gift.

Jason--

Thanks so much for sharing all of these pictures with us. The car looks beautiful. I just wanted to post one time in this thread to thank you so I waited til the car was about finished.

I hope you find a buyer from our forum. I did share this thread with another North Carolina guy that would like to have a Judge, and he is from Lenoir, N.C. I'm sure I'll hear about it if he buys it.

Thanks,
Michael Staley

Odd statement...
Cameo White is a 1971 year colour. Is that making the WT7 a 1971 option?
In 1970 the white is Polar White, different colour.

I would like to see a 1970 build sheet or PHS dokument showing the WT7 option.

I just saw this thread today and have read through the whole thing.
Pretty amazing job and I am sure the OP will have a successful well known business for many years to come.
I have a question going back to the beginning of the thread with the frame and the rust on the top by the rear axle. I know several others commented on it but my question is more pointed.
Not too concerned with the pitting from a cosmetic standpoint, but is it structurally sound in that area?
From the pics it looked pretty bad and it appeared that salt had been sitting in that section for 30 years.
Thanks in advance.

I'm guessing the color slip was just a misprint in the magazine.
