Sweet car, I really like the poverty caps! Did some of these cars come with a black filler between the bumper and header panel?

No,
They should be body color,That is the only thing that has been replaced. One of these days I will get it painted and color matched. After all this is still wearing its original paint.

it sucks.the co-convention is about 15 miles from my house and the Trans am nats is about 10 miles away.too bad i'll be 7,000 miles away.if things stay as they are now,i'll be leaving for the sand box in may, should be home by Christmas next year.the one good thing is this will pay to finish up some of my toys.

Here's a picture of my 74 SD. I've been getting into photography lately and found that merging my love of cars with pictures is really fun!

Here's a pick of my 75 Firebird. It's my daily driver in the summer, the wife calls it "my baby."

It actually started life as a Sunstorm Yellow car. The previous owner painted it candy apple red with gold base and black streaks down the sides under the candy.

Resurrecting this old thread from 11 months of hibernation . . .

Thanks to Bob Wicker (PY "tabob") for scanning in quite a few of my old photos of my Buc Red, '70-'72 striped, '75 T/A.

Keep in mind that this car was street raced, drag raced, autocrossed and entered in countless car shows. Powered by it's OEM 400 when I first bought it from the original owner in 1981, when I spun a main bearing in that motor in went a tired '71 455HO, then I built a 10.5:1 solid cammed 455SD. Eventually ran some 11.80's @ 112 with it.

The car was as immaculate underneath as it was on top. Shame that I had to sell it in 1990 when I opened Bellaire Auto Center.

See if you can count how many sets of wheels and tires I had for it, LOL.

Enjoy!
