As long as we are at it, Maybe I should post these up.
Same car as post # 242, photo 4. Taken a couple of labor Days ago in Keokuk, IA. Changing gears in Ramo Stott's Championship car, me on the right. 2nd shot is of a healthy & vibrant Mr. & Mrs Stott. Now I thought this was pretty cool until my brother got to swing wrenches on a F4F Hellcat! And there is a Pontiac connection- It's a Ray Nichols built car. |

If one could have known how valuable those cars would become. I laugh now when I see some 4 door rice burner with a wing. It's flattering to think they are trying to emulate real muscle like these Daytonas possesed.

Damn, why did so many of these cars end up like this? Be an interesting study to see how there were so many that ended up this way including all muscle cars that ended up that way.Could gas prices really carried that much of effect to where these cars became so unwanted and uncared for?

I grew up in one.
F6 green with white wing and interior, Automatic 440. It was Mom's. Came new and untitled from Hartwinn's in Greenfield mass in 1970. 400 plus miles on it from test drives but had not sold. It may have been the one that shipped to Burlington VT but got moved to the other dealership. Sold to a guy in Bennington Vt when I was in grade school. ![]()

Do you really think it's numbers matching all original?"

So I just found a company who makes complete conversion kits to make either a Superbird or a Daytona.
I think I just found my next project. I just need to find a decent roller.

Very cool.
Probably only a dozen or so white wing F6 cars over white ever made.
