It does look like that 67 GTO could be a good deal, and wow it has a "Hertz" shifter! That's a rare part I am sure! LOL!!!

Must be a repro, cause it's a 50Hz shifter.

64 NM Bonneville convertible in AZ at $4K NR. Been in AZ for 30 years so prolly minimal rust. Interior looks like it's been redone and claims it runs, but not very well. No engine pics.

These cars are really sharp when completed. Here's a pic of a Barrett Jackson car. I see pics online with the RV mirror either on the fender or the door... what's up with that?

Mirror on fender = remote. On door = manual.

63 & 64 full size cars got the mirror on the fender if it was a Remote Mirror.
Standard mirror was on the door.

64 GTO/LeMans were that way too. (Fender Remote vs. Door Standard)

I don't know the reason for that , it was odd.

I put the old man's '51 custom fjord on there a few years ago and the bidding went really high after a huge frenzy...then...sold to some old fart in FLA who did not pay - total waste of time

I had to relist it and of course it didn't go nearly as high the second time around - thx old fart

Anyway, I'm not sure if relisting is the best strategy in my experience...

That's a cool car. How much did you get for it?

Yes, quite the cream puff; 302, air, power everyting/trunk/top, chopped, channeled, lake pipes, continental kit - won a bunch of awards back in the day.

I'm embarrassed to say, we practically gave it away as my siblings were broke, paying storage, no insurance (because we technically couldn't "own" it) and three other cars to unload...

Guy drove here with no trailer so I asked him how is he going to get it home as it wasn't on the road for twenty years. "I'm going to drive it!"

And he did, all the way from Manitobia to Oregon, no plates, no insurance...crazy

79 Trans AM Y84 stick in NY at $500 NR. Looks like a solid project with little rust. NM engine (out of the car) but missing the transmission.
