You should grab that hood.

1942
Earlier this summer, one day this car carrier stopped in the truck lane down below our pasture. I heard some commotion and walked down there to check what was going on. They off loaded one or two vehicles that must have been being dropped off near by.
I had to go after my camera when I saw the old Pontiac. The driver told me it was a '42. He was nice enough to wait for me to finish taking pictures before he pulled away. |

There was an OLD man living across the street from me when I was a little kid (I'm 61) that had a lime sherbet green one similar to that, give or take a couple of years. I remember that it had an amber Indian head on the hood.

Reminds me of some of the later (50's) Pontiac's with all that chrome trim. I guess you could say that one has a "uni-suspender". Bunkie Knudsen hated the old timey grandpa styling...me too. He called the dual chrome strips on later models, suspenders (I think?).
I started a thread here years ago, asking opinions of the 55-57 Chevrolets vs. the same year Pontiacs...I was surprised many here preferred the Pontiacs...

Took a turn down a side street in Brewer, ME today and something caught my eye- had to do a quick U turn for a better look!
'29 Pontiac hot rod with Pontiac power! Pretty cool car, needs a little TLC. Asking price seems way high for the condition.

I don't have a photo, but I was out yesterday running errands and saw a very nice Nocturnal Blue 1979 Trans Am with WS6 wheels in Apex. I was driving a Saturn Vue, and I definitely didn't have the power to catch the driver. I've never seen the car before.

A couple Ponchos in my neighborhood. The Cat is pretty clean and looks to be original paint, but I'm kind of digging the GTA.

Saw a burgandy '65 4 door tempest with a little old lady (possibly original owner?) driving in town the other day. Have seen the car parked a few times over the years and it is in pretty decent shape. Cool to see a older car like that on the road, in good shape, and getting proper use!

Two of my fellow Pontiac enthusiast's always refer to the 73-up cars as ugly. I like them more and more, as time goes on, especially since you don't see them on the road, anymore...

A few from last night's cruise. The '65 was pretty sweet.
