Hi Everyone - Big update today! Cam says -- "Take this thing home". So here we are metal work done (with the exception of the trunk lid - but hey there's always something).

A couple weeks to get my shop straightened up, and it will be home. All it needs then is everything else.

I'm clearly super excited. Here are some pictures in SPI red oxide epoxy primer.

Thanks everyone for following along.

I just checked. You started your journey in December of 2015 on this forum for this car. Congratulations! It has come a long way. A lot of serious body work. How is the rest of the car coming along? I don’t remember if you said what your color is going to be?

Hi Everyone -- Thanks for checking in on this project...

Yep -- it has turned into a real marathon. I owned the car a couple months before I started the thread, so working on 11 years at this point.

We are definitely behind schedule and over budget....

I'm just glad people are still willing to follow along and are checking out this thread.

All credit to this point goes to Cam Stevenson at Imperial Kustom in Idaho. Incredible metal work.

The car as it sits has no filler (yet), other than lead in the sail panels where the quarter joins the roof, the roof patch joint at the edges, and a small area in the drivers fender.

I will be doing the rest - so hopefully it turns out well.

I have most of the parts - for a basket case it was fairly complete, but I did need to find some stuff. Also, some parts needed to be replaced with better versions.

I have restored a bunch of small stuff - but some of that will need to be redone due to the "might-as-wells".

I'm going back to the original color combo which was Saddle Bronze (S code) with a Saddle interior.

Thanks again everyone for following along.
