I made a post in the 74 up forum, also.

I'm looking for either Hawk397 or the person he sold his 1974 SD TA to.
The person who bought it from him was from MI I believe.

The original owner is wanting to talk to the current owner of the car.

I don't think so.

The original owner has some interesting info about the car, and it's shipping overseas. (and back here again)

Yeap, thats cool! Nothing like a good story to go along with a new car. Its nice of the seller to include or pass down the history to stay with the car.

A hairy hose? A 4-speed? Exhaust that does not hang down so low from the manifolds?

Nice car though!

One would have to redo a lot under the hood.

Anyone know anything about this silver 73 SD Formula? It's in the SD registry.

Lot of options added. Would look unique the way it came with vinyl roof and no spoiler or chrome trim. I agree the price seems very good even with an SR block. I would sure love to have it. I wonder if it was ordered by a CA buyer who couldn't get one in his home state.

Do I see an aftermarket intake in that engine pic? That boss pointing up doesn't look correct.

What is that, body side moldings on the doors and rear bumper guards?

This odometer photo scares me. Odometers dont roll from left to right, they roll from right to left. There's no reason for the numbers to be caught between 85,696 and 76,696, especially when the SD registry lists the mileage at 80,000 back in the early 1990s.

This one has popped up for sale a couple other times in the last few years. Agree it would be cooler with the V-Top and no spoiler.
