That will never go down. First he has to make it down the track............ to the end

without coasting.

Ken,
Do not know what the spec are for you engine. Lets say Bore = 4.185 - Stroke = 4.5 - Rod Length = 6.75. Using my calculator, for you to have a 170 PSI cranking compression you would have to have IVC @ 97 ABDC.

Thanks Ken. That is an interesting dilemma. I think Slowbird ran low, low nines with pump gas.

Regardless, good luck and look forward to seeing you out.

Im sure if you both siphon out your tanks at a gas station in town and drive back to the track then race with the same gas same pump he will take you up on that BEST 2 out of three wins......if yours is still alive mike will woop ya....jus sayin

Used Performance Trends Engine dyno calculator. It spit out the results. I just input the info.

Try this.
Compression:12.75-1
Bore: 4.375
Stroke: 4.460
Rod length: 6.8

Cam specs: 283/300@.050
114 LSA with 6 degree advance.

Bwahahahahahahahahaha,
Sounds like a plan. But don't want to get the cart before the horse. Gotta get it put together first and make passes and tune. Just a prediction................ for now.

Ken,
My calculator uses seat numbers at the valve. Since weather has an effect this was run with temp = 70 and Barometric Pressure = 29.92

I should be able to run pump gas with that number. My hyd roller combo cranked at 170/175 and ran 93 Sunoco.

Fastest calculator?
Come on wheelie boy. Don't be hatin.
What do they use to figure out a cam profile for a combo.
What do they use to figure compression

Just trying to get a grip on a N/A pump gas combo. Back in the day Lingenfelter built high hp high compression engines running on pump gas. Even did a SBC with 14-1 on pump gas.

Don't you have a toilet to unstop or something?
Heard there is a Plumbing trade show in the N.E. Is the rumor true that you & Gach are rooming together.

Don't be hatin'. . I'd rather be like LJ and have a checkbook balance so large that I need a calculator to balance it.

It's not that large anymore!

I'm ready to take up donations

New motor is only going to be 13-1 I wonder if I coat everything and retard the timing and run a cold plug if I could run pump gas too?

Ahhh... I can see Ken is going to run E-85 but I think it works better to convert the straw to alcohol and not just throw the raw crop into the intake.
