Ed Installed the Rear Stainless Brake Lines and today I installed the Innovators West Harmonic Damper. The Engine Fired right up and revved up noticeably better as the Fisher Damper was thought to have failed, because we couldn't get the Timing set at many attempts and the engine stumbled while revving it up prior. I also attached the MSD Capacitor and enclosed all wiring in EMI Shielding too. I put on the New CVF Aluminum Crank Pulley, next time I'll change the Water Pump Pulley. After we Bleed the Brakes We'll test drive the new Set-Up.
And AG, Yes we can Race - that will be fun. I will need a Head Start.

Hi AG,

I wasn't Familiar with Innovators West Damper until my brother showed me, as he used one for his 535, Super Quality, Good Price and it just looks so Cool.

The new Cam is not in yet, soon. I have a 1050 Dominator.

Cool looking.

Does it have BBC or Pontiac pattern for the pulley?

They will set the Balancer up with either bolt pattern, mine is the Pontiac 4 - Bolt Pattern to bolt up to the CVF Pulley, they will also set -up either way too.

I took the Firebird for a short ride, Vibrations and Growling Noise in the Drive Line(Thought to be Transmission) are all gone. The drive-ability is so much better. I look forward to the Camshaft change.

Fixed the broken tooth on the Flex plate, had to have the starter rebuilt as all the gears were chewed up, clocked the starter away from the oil pan, installed the 20 degree start retard. Have the Timing finally figured out, likes 25 degrees and more at idle - Have the adjustable timing control and we figured out it does not retard the timing and only advances. Still trying to adjust the Carb - Shaker455 where are you???? Idle Air/Fuel is in the high 12' low 13's, while under partial load way too rich, down jetted but went to far down in jet sizes, now starting over.

Ordered the GZ Super Pro Vacuum Pump, will be delivered next week.

Received the Tin Indian Performance Drive Mandrel for the Vacuum Pump - Nice Piece.

Mounted the Methanol injection tank and a few relays for the electric fans.

Need a New Hood, DON Johnson Please post some Drawing of your Hood. I am considering the Tony Orts 4 Inch Cowl Hood.

Jeff (Shaker455) came by Sunday to help with the Dominator tuning, after many carb adjustments it didn't meet Jeff's Approval. I pulled the Carb off and its in going to be modified and SHAKER455 Tuned. Looking forward to the Improvements.

We had some fun driving the 67 Firebird around, a Fun day tuning with Jeff!!!!!

Steve, Jeff did my dominator for my race car and all I had to do was to make one jet change to get to the right A/F ratio. Worked great right away. I want to come over and take a look at your car sometime.

Tony, Thanks for letting me try your Dominator on my engine, it gave Jeff(Shaker455) more information on how he will modify my 1050. Jeff is reworking mine from the inside out with more tuning adjustments for idle and transition circuit & much more.

Now that we got the 1050 Dominator dialed in I changed the engine oil and completed the install of the GZ Motorsports Super Pro Complete Racing Vacuum Pump and now my oil pan or Rear Main oil Leak is gone. It was a pretty simple install, with the hardest part being attaching the Push Lock hose onto the AN Fittings. I need to make some final Adjustments to the total Vacuum and then should be complete. I used the Mandrel from Tin Indian, which is a nice piece. I went with the larger pump and its under-driven so the pump will last longer per GZ Motorsports.

I received the New Vacuum Line from Star Machine:

http://www.starvacuumpumps.com/products/7160-12

I am not sure why the inlet line collapsed but after driving the Firebird about 50 miles today there where no issues with the new line.

50 more miles and the Strange Ford 9" will be Broken in.

Drove the car another 50 or more miles today. Went to New England Dragway for Tech Inspection on the Firebird. Over-all, its ready for Street night, no slicks. But they said to change my valve stems and install my Racing Harness if I'm to be Faster than 11.49.

They were impressed with the car and thought it was real clean with no issues.
