I heard rumor/fact your super gasser didn't need a stop or studder box, the heads automatically lifted on every pass causing just the rite amount of pause. .... and you have well over thirty k in blowed head gaskets and stretched head bolts.

hey George, I have a idea how to make curt some more headbolts on the cheap. Turn your boost up to 12lbs, make a bonsai pass, stretch yours twice the length, cut and re thread, then you can give curt the freebees.

Why you picking on Curtis he's a hard working RACER! Do you know how hard it is to keep a car making over 1,000hp together...........it ain't easy "Buddy"! It's easy to sit in the CHEAP SEATS and comment (a lot on non-racers and wannabes do it) on racers busting their a$$ to race! Try it some time!!
.............oh by the way, there not "head bolts" there "head studs".......DUH!!!!

Reading this thread just makes me content to be slow. I don't think it's worth the grief to post if you are fast or trying to doing some different with your program.

the funny thing is the e heads are an almost exact copy of a stock 69-70 Ram Air IV head, enough so even NHRA recognizes them as a OE replacement for Super Stock

I believe they've won more races than any other head powering a Pontiac engine.

I don't think this thread is about any kind of heads, I believe it was supposed to be about a race between Dick Fulton and Jack Pumphery, which probably isn't going to prove much other than who crosses the finish line first on whatever day they end up racing. Then it took a turn into talking about cylinder heads and a bunch of other subjects.
