In the 1st race of the div 7 double header, Scott Burton survived 3 rounds of Stock elims, with his '70 RA IV Formula.

There's a National event on the East coast, this weekend. But, yesterday's schedule got washed out.
They're trying to get the track dried out, so the action can begin today. http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...UMMIT#indextop There are a few Pontiacs entered. According to the pre-entry list, Randi Lyn Shipp & Adam Strang will be running Stock, and Sam Biondo will be running SS. Good luck to these Pontiac powered racers !

Q-1
They finally got in a round of Stock qualifying, at the NHRA Dodge Nationals.
Randi Lyn was #15, with a .948 under, 10.602, in D/SA. Adam Strang was #21, with a .919 under, 10.731, in E/S. http://www.dragracecentral.com/DRCSt...UMMIT#indextop The air & track conditions must be good. There are some quick times. One of the late model Stockers ran an 8.11. I think that's the quickest ever run in Stock(if you can call those cars Stock). http://classracer.com/classforum/sho...&postcount=104 There's talk that some of the sportsman classes may not finish elims til Monday.
