May I ask what this collector does for a living? I'm considering a career change!

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but I posted on the FGF Forum and got very little response.

Of all these nice 1st gens posted within this thread, is anyone running P235/60R15 or P215/65R15 tires? I'd like to see a photo or two of a 1st gen with either of these sizes (preferably on 15x7 Rally II's). Trying to decide which size to order...

Thanks in advance!

Hey Mike,

I have 245/60/15's on the rear of mine. 15 x 8 Rally II's.
Fills it out real nice with no rub.
Fronts 235/60/14 on 14 x 7 Rally II's

Not exactly what you asked for, but thought it was close enough for you.

The rear wheels had a 215/65/15that looked OK but just weren't wide enough for me.

hope this helps

thanks, mike! it was a PO custom color. i can only describe it as 'dr. pepper'. the redlines are actually firestone firehawk indy 500's (which are great tires, btw) that diamondback puts the redline on. dbtires.com can put whitewalls, whitelines and redlines on just about any new tire. they'll cost twice as much and take 3 or 4 weeks to get to you, but i'm pleased with how they turned out. classic look, modern performance and safety.
