Default 326 tempest

Fairly rare car if the 326 is a legit 280 horse. Looks like the wrong fan shroud and intake system, but a nice solid car. It is good to see the values increasing on the 61-63 Tempest models, but that is making it harder to find parts cars and parts.

I talked to the seller. If you're good at dealing with giant AH's... he's the seller for you.

The red ebay 326 Tempest- This is crazy money for a car of this quality. Can't help but think those are not legit bids. What does the Forum community think?

Oh right, right. I bought a car off him once. I'd be interested in that wagon if I wasn't already dragging one home from Ohio this summer. Maybe it's time for a multi-car hauler.

Ditto above comments...

An Ohio car with the heater disconnected? truck stop radio, turn signals and battery terminal clamp, blue alternator?, (black) paint peeling off the master cylinder cap, wrong steering wheel, (exhaust?) bolt sticking up in the trunk, trunk weatherstrip crumbling, trunk spray painted without even removing the trans dipstick cover, weatherstrip oversprayed red, wrong antenna. I can imagine what it looks like underneath.

The red ebay car didn't sell at $18,100???? A great example of two fools meeting and parting ways.
