3.91, 192 Josh Bagget That was a heck of a pass in this event for anyone. Low 6.30s for sure.

From FB.... well, after all that thrashing and busting our asses, we put a nice easy soft tune up in the car for first round of qualifying. guessing the motor has been hurt a while, cause it shouldn't have went anywhere near that fast lol. oh well, I think we are qualified 14 or something currently. I'm sure tomorrow the bump is gonna fall. we are going to take the motor apart, put some new bearings in it again, and hopefully improve on our time tomorrow. never know, we might just do ok. as long as Brian Davis brings enough sets of bearings lol.
Why change the bearings? |

Sounds like I need to find a different calculator (vs Wallace program for the 1/8 to quarter). Everyone says the numbers are off a bunch.

SERIOUSLY......no 2 cars run the 1/4 mile the same, some cars run the top end quicker then others, some cars run the first 1/8 quicker then the next. Wallace calculator is just a quess-ti-ment! Turbo cars run the last 1/8 harder then others!

Any more updates on any qualifying runs for today? Also, any other Pontiac racers there in any of the other classes? Thinking about going tomorrow if there are.

With the boost controllers used today it really hard to tell how a car will run and what it will run based on short numbers. Turbo cars do tend to 60ft a bit slower and then ramp in boost at defined levels and time down the track based on the track and the cars ability to take the power. The car my be at 1500 hp at 300 ft and be at 2200 hp at 1000 ft, where a NA or blown car is what ever it is from start to finish.

Nice pass. Doing Pontiac proud. Looking at the mph I don't think he has that much left in it.
