When you're selling something like that, you really should post some decent pics of that the thing looks like. Not even one pic of the bed/tailgate or whatever might be back there. At least the price makes it worth looking at though.

From the look of it, that "crate" engine is one of the cheapies out of the catalog, too. The "170 horse" ones that I always wonder "why would somebody going through the trouble of an engine swap buy one of those boat anchors?"

I think it shows the lack of value those Rolls' have today - that hacking it up and putting it on a truck chassis is an option.

With it being a '79 chassis, I'd be looking for frame rot. Could be why the fuel line "busted".

My first impression was: it's not even a computer era engine, even though the chassis and rolling stock appear to be less than 15-20 years old.

He's trying to tap into the recent trend of people who walk to work or get stiffed on a tip for being gay, then take in a quarter million bucks for their sob story.

Hard to feel too sorry for this kid - the other driver's insurance owes him a check AND his parents are giving him $5k.

The kid can find a great car for $5,000. If he has any sense, and at 16 he probably doesn't, he'll take that $5,000 and get himself a nice daily driver and pocket the other $2,000. Wait until he can earn more than minimum wage to get the classic muscle car.

Agreed.
Also sounds like he's more likely a third world import than a budding gearhead.

, or make the car back to a beautiful sweet muscle car. ........ Its a 3 speed. v6 inline.
He's already been brainwashed by the liberal media to think he will never earn enough money to have a nice car again, even though he's only 16.

Wink "King of the Road"????

For those of you included in "The BC Email Blast" perhaps you've already sampled this "(Sale Pending)" offering.

For all other PYrs here that may have missed out, there still may be time...

Looks like it's from the boys from the movie Wraith that were drinking motor oil and crap.

Appropriate that the "action shot" is in water. The only way that massive POS could spin the wheels, er, wheel...

I like his unusually mounted power steering pump. (picture #4 just above that stupid license plate on the shroud.)
