i am selling my 68 Lemans GTO clone. the car was just painted on 3/10/2015 and looks great for a daily driver. the shop matched it as close as possible to the original gto red color. it needs minor things and it does come with both bullet style mirrors and the hood scoops and a Judge decal set. no motor or trans. i am asking 11k OBO NO LOWBALLERS make me a reasonable offer. the interior is decent and only the drivers seat has cracks the others are perfect. i have a clean title in my name and the tags are good til August.

Why would anybody try to build a clone using the wrong year? Reminds me of a model I have. It is a 71 Roadrunner Superbird with 70 Superbird nose and rear spoiler.

He should have left it as a correct leMans as that would have been the right step, but the price he's asking is completed GTO price level. It's a good 5K body. Needs complete interior, & he didn't show any pics of the under side of the car. It could be a nice paint job over a rusted & bent frame. Needs a lot more pics. Under the car to see if it needs floors & trunk work. But still just a 5K body at best. But don't put GTO decals on the wrong year LeMans hoping someone is stupid enough to think there buying a real GTO, lots ok stupid kids/adults out there.

He should post it in the 61-77 GTO LeMans & Tempests FOR SALE section on this site. It would fit right in with the rest of the overpriced junk there.

Too bad that 66 4DR HT LeMans was T-boned. Not really a muscle car but one that's rarely seen these days.

I just met a guy from Newark, DE this morning who's grandson has a 65 4DR HT that needs work. Someone ran into it and smashed up the right front side of it. Needs a right front fender if anyone has one laying around that's in good useable shape. Possibly grills too.

You're not going to believe the luck - while on business out of town, took a side trip to investigate a '78 4-spd TA FS yesterday and found a treasure trove of parts and cars...including a pair of '66 4DR LeMans or Tempest rust fee fenders hanging from the barn rafters next to a pair of NOS '69 GTO fenders and much more in Independence TX.
